The light and the surrounding in Palm Springs is just amazing! The desert vibe and the golden hour right before the sun goes down is definitely my favorite part of the day. This is when we shot the new Summer 2017 YSL Solar Pop make up collection by YSL beauty.

YSL Solar Pop Bronzing Stones Collector Palette
I decided to focus on two products: the YSL Couture Metallics Full Metal Shadow in gold and the YSL Solar Pop Bronzing Stones Collector Palette. As I am not really a pro when it comes to make up, I was pretty nervous about the outcome of this shooting. The package of the YSL Solar Pop collection is so beautiful and valuable, that I didn’t event wanted to use it. I mean, look at this badass snake print case of the bronzing powder? Is there a bag with the same style please? YSL Solar Pop YSL Solar Pop – brining out bright colors featuring the following products: bright and interesting nail polish colors, an incredible bronzer in a very cool compact, new liquid metallic eyeshadow shades and Volupte tint in oil. The YSL Solar Pop collection is quite small, but even 1-2 products suffice to create a natural summer bronzed make up.
When we did my make up (together with Nina Suess, as she is way better in this than me!), we just sat down on the bed and tried different things. In the end I decided to apply the YSL metallic old eyeshadow together with some nude and nature colors to create a smokey eye look. Especially in this surrounding, I love to fit in perfectly! The whole look is done by giving the face some contour with the YSL Bronzing Powder.
I am wearing a jumpsuit by Helmut Lang (via the Outnet) and my new sneaker by Gucci. My whole accessories are by Ariane Ernst and match perfectly with the bronzing and gold tones of the YSL beauty make up. So here it is, the outcome and I hope you like it!
