I teamed up with KMS California and had the chance to discover the backstage and styling area of the holyGhost presentation this week. It was not a classical fashion show, more like a presentation or installation of the styles. The whole event took place at the rooftop of the Armano Grand Central hotel.

When I arrived at the backstage area there was a lot going on! Some models just arrived, some just got their hair styling, some got hair and make up at the same time and other tried carefully to get dressed without getting anything dirty – it was great to see everyone getting ready and be part of this atmosphere. Holyghost concentrates this season on their favorite heroines. Every model represents a heroine with attributes like „sexy, elegant ,etc“, therefore each model received the matching styling. Nicole Thietz (Management & Education KMS C.) told me that the attribute strong comes with straight and sleek hair and feminine with loose waves and messy hair. KMS California interprets the modern heroine with a more undone look – like it´s now in line with the trend. It´s more about giving the hair a lot of structure and not a perfect done hairstyle.
